Course Cancellation

At NCSS we want to give our students the best experience possible. That’s why our cancellation and transfer policies are based on our investment in supplies and equipment purchases before your course. If you cancel we cannot recover our expenses and short notice cancellations can prevent someone else from attending as class sizes are limited.

However, we understand that sometimes things come up. Should you need to cancel your registration for any reason here’s how it works.

• 30 days or more before a course begins: full refund.

• Less than 30 days before a course begins: 50% refund or a full transfer credit to future courses.

• In the rare event that a course is canceled by NCSS, a full refund will be provided to all registered participants.

  • In the true spirit of connecting with nature, NCSS courses will be held in all weather conditions with the exception of extreme, life threatening weather conditions.
